Southern Fulton High School Seniors attended a guided visitation of the ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½ main campus facility in Warfordsburg, Pennsylvania in late April. The visitation consisted of a guided tour of the manufacturing, service, corporate, engineering, and administrative buildings. ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½ incorporated some educational and inspirational speeches from corporate and community leaders as well as facilitated professional level mock interviews into the experience.
The day started as students arrived at the service facility, where they learned how ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½ rebuilds and repairs equipment. The second stop on the tour was ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½â€™s technology and engineering department; listening to how aggregate processing plants are engineered and designed.
Next students visited the ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½ manufacturing facility to better understand steel fabrication, welding, and component assembly.
Paul ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½ and Helen Overly – a long-time presenter – provided personal and professional advice that touched on ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½â€™s five values; safety, integrity, commitment, respect, and excellence.
Southern Fulton students and teachers praised Paul ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½ and the entire ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½ for opening their doors to the community and investing in the future of Fulton County over the last 25 years. Student were excited to learn more about ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½ and how they have the opportunity to work and live in the community they call home.
